Q + A

When and where is the wedding taking place?

Saturday, September 27th, 2025 Ceremony- 4:30pm Reception- 6:00pm

What should I wear?

As the wedding will have an elegant, timeless, and classic theme, we recommend black tie or formal attire but it is not required. Please do keep in mind you will be walking on grass to be seated for the ceremony.

Are children invited?

If you have immediate children, they will be welcome to attend. We just ask that when we send formal invites you be sure to include them in your guest count and only bring the children that you included in that RSVP so that we can have an accurate head count for food and seating.

What’s the best way to RSVP?

RSVP's can be sent through the wedding website once formal invites are sent later this year. We will have the RSVP function turned off until those invites are sent.

Is there a wedding registry?

Yes, there is. You can access the wedding registry through this website.

Are there hotel accommodations nearby?

We have a block of rooms available at the Charley Creek Inn in downtown Wabash. Details for the room block are included in the "Travel" tab on the website. There are additional hotels nearby also included on that tab.

Will transportation be provided?

There is no direct transportation currently provided. Additional details are still being determined. There is limited parking at the venue itself and additional parking nearby. We will likely have individuals on the day of the wedding handle valet parking and are looking into transportation post-wedding for individuals staying at the hotel.

What time should I arrive at the venue?

Guests should arrive no more than 30 minutes before the ceremony. We ask that all guests arrive and be seated at least 5 minutes before the ceremony start time.

What will the weather be like?

The average weather in late September in our area is a high of 72°during the day and a low of 49° at night.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We’ve hired a professional photographer to capture the ceremony, so we kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos during this time. Feel free to take photos during the reception or after the ceremony. Thank you for understanding!

What’s the timeline for the day?

4:00-4:25 pm-Guests arrive and get seated 4:30-Ceremony 5:00-6:00- Photos and cocktail hour 6:00-Dinner 6:45-First dances 7:00-Cake cutting 7:45-Sparkler "send-off" 8:00-10:00-Dancing and fun

Can I bring a plus-one?

If your official invite includes a guest, you are welcome to bring them. However, to help us maintain an accurate headcount, we kindly ask that you refrain from bringing additional guests, children, or adults who were not specifically invited.

What should I do if I have questions or need assistance on the day of the wedding?

Please get in touch with an immediate family member or member of the wedding party with any questions.

What’s the best way to get to the venue?

Address details for the venue are included in the wedding website. Both ceremony and reception will be taking place at the same venue.

Will there be an open bar or cash bar?

Soft drinks, wine, and beer will be available in the bar. Hard liquor may be purchased for an additional cost.

Is there a specific time the event will end?

Event must end by 10 pm due to venue rules and regulations.

Are there any fun activities or local attractions nearby?
